SharQui Workout: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout.

SharQui Workout Level 2: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but kick up a notch with more intricate moves.

SharQui Technique:   This is a slightly slower paced class than regular SharQui and is ideal for anyone who wants to learn, drill, and get feedback to refine intermediate bellydance technique. (Can run up to 45 minutes). 

SharQui Styles: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but fused with an inspiration of another dance genre. Each week will be a new dance style fusion.

SharQui HIIT: Move back and forth between intense bellydance moves and weight training.

Flexibility for Bellydance Technique: Unlock your joints and mobilize your muscles toward better freer and pain-free dancing. Build the flexibility and strength needed to support high-level dance technique.

SharQui Core: This cross training class combines light weights and Pilates mat exercises with bellydance movements, all focused on strengthening the abdominals and back for SharQui.

Crash Choreo: Learn a 1-2 minute choreography that gets your heart rate up.

SharQui Cardio Core: This class incorporates traditional SharQui Workout combos with a 10-minute ab workout that is designed especially for belly dancers.

SharQui Workout Party: It’s a different themed dance party every week with Laylianah. Dance your worries away in this improv-based, stress-busting workout.

Performance Coaching with Oreet

Mondays @ 11am EST on 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, and 4/27

In this intensive we will be work on choreography ideas and performance skills to enhance your dance. By the 4th week you will have a 1-minute minimum routine choreographed that you feel great about!

Zills n' Rhythm with Oreet

Tuesdays @ 11am EST on 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, and 4/28

In this intensive you will learn a minimum of various rhythms and sounds. By the end of the intensive you will be able to play the rhythms in sequence as well as adding them to movement.

Latin Fusion Series: Salsa for Bellydancers with Angel

Salsa dancing can be a thrilling experience for Bellydancers! No, you do NOT need a partner…you alone can and WILL shine all by yourself! Learning beautiful cultural dances (such as Salsa) can often lead to artist inspiration and unique ideas for versatility in dance fusion.

Intricate Hips with Jessica

Sunday, April 4th from 1-2pm EST

Add clarity to your hip movements with Jessica as she helps you expand your movement vocabulary. Focusing on articulation and abdominal engagement, Jessica will teach you beautiful intermediate hip movements that come in handy for a huge variety of belly dancing styles.

Zills: How to Get By While You Get Better with Laylianah

Zills take LOTS of practice! But what if you want to be able to use them between now and the point you have practiced enough to become a Zill Virtuoso? Laylianah can help you with that! In this workshop, she teach you the tricks to make you sound like you know what you’re doing even if maybe you don’t…yet. You will do exercises that will be useful for both practice and performance. Why not sound great on your way to true greatness.

Dance and fitness teachers right now need creative solutions for new problems. The landscape for teaching dance and fitness has changed wildly over the last year and it can be hard to keep up. In this 1 hour webinar, I’m gathering instructors together for a candid conversation about teaching in 2021. We will talk about safely returning to in-person classes, taking advantage of the opportunity for hybrid classes, connecting to students, creating a local dance community, and generating revenue with sources beyond regular classes.

Omis and Wines: Dancehall Meets Bellydance with Delilah

Dancehall is a genre of upbeat Jamaican Pop music, which has a lot of popularity in the US as well (remember Shaggy? Sean Paul?). It’s an expressive dance style that celebrates a person’s individuality the same way that belly dance does. The two dance styles make for a fun fusion as each style highlights a different personality within the dancer. There are similar movements across both dance styles (like omis/hip circles in belly dance and wines in dancehall) but they are expressed differently in their own unique way. Join in to see and feel the difference between omis, wining, and more!
