Group Bellydance Performance with Jessica

Mondays from 6:00-7:00 pm EST on 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27

Want to perform? Join Jessica Monday nights to learn and practice simple and flashy group choreographies. Perform these dances at SharQui’s online haflas as well as perform or teach them at outside events. Choreography will be Egyptian-inspired and primarily set to SharQui’s music.

Teach Like A Pro with Oreet

Wednesdays from 8:00-9:00pm on 9/8, 9/15, 9/22 & 9/29

Let’s get back into the studio (or stay online) with a bang! Oreet will give you the skills with a clear and precise system to easily lead your students in a dance and fitness class. We will be working on counting, breakdown, cueing so that you really feel like the super star you are, and so that your students keep coming back. This intensive will be taught as a coaching session where participants come with specific aspects they would like to work on.

Zills-n-Rhythm with Oreet

Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm EST on 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29

As bellydancers we call them zills and they are definitely a lost art! This intensive is for the beginner to advanced ziller.  You will learn a minimum of 3 Egyptian rhythms and progress into moving and playing at the time. This intensive will be formatted as a coaching session and meet each individual where they are – no matter their skill level.

Intro to Bellydance Workshop with Marisa

Sunday, 9/12 @ 3:00-4:00pm EST

$25 + Includes FREE 1 month Virtual Studio membership

In this class, master SharQui instructor, Marisa, will personally guide you through the 8 essential moves of bellydance. It is easy to fall in love with bellydance. You don’t have to grow up with bellydance for it to feel like home to you. Whether it’s the intoxicating rhythms, the eye-popping sequined costumes, or the way it tones your core, there’s so much to love about this art form.

Equinox Flow with Lola

Tuesday, 9/22 @ 6:00-7:00pm EST

This is a beautifully crafted fusion of yoga flow and belly dance movements to help you ground into the fall season. You will dive into creating a grounding & connecting movement practice for our next seasonal chapter … the fall equinox. Perfect for any level of dancer and mover.

SharQui Workout: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout.

SharQui Veil: A traditional SharQui Workout infused with safe veil technique. Enhance your workout from the added upper body toning. Veil is optional as options for students without veils will be provided. Beginner friendly.

SharQui Workout Level 2: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but kick up a notch with more intricate moves.

SharQui Technique:   This is a slightly slower paced class than regular SharQui and is ideal for anyone who wants to learn, drill, and get feedback to refine intermediate bellydance technique. (Can run up to 45 minutes). 

SharQui Styles: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but fused with an inspiration of another dance genre. Each week will be a new dance style fusion.

Dance Strong: Using intense bellydance moves to increase stamina and strength. The use of a chair and light hand weights are used.

SharQui Core: This cross training class combines light weights and Pilates mat exercises with bellydance movements, all focused on strengthening the abdominals and back for SharQui.

Crash Choreo: Learn a 1-2 minute choreography that gets your heart rate up.

SharQui Workout Party: It’s a different themed dance party every week with Laylianah. Dance your worries away in this improv-based, stress-busting workout
