From Panic To Magic

Quick story with a big realization…

A few years ago, while teaching a SharQui class, my worst teaching nightmare came true: the stereo decided to quit on me.

One second, the class was moving and shimmying, and the next – dead silence.

I froze. My heart was pounding, my palms were sweaty, and I could feel my face getting hot. Inside, I was like, Oh crap! What do I do now?!

The room was just staring at me, waiting for the music to come back on. I wanted to cry. My brain was screaming, Sh*t! They’re all going to walk out!

But instead of panicking, I took a deep breath.

I reminded myself: I don’t need music to keep teaching. The beat is already in me. The system is already in me.

So, I stomped my feet, clapped my hands, snapped my fingers, and let the beat come from my body. Before I knew it, the class jumped right back in, following me without missing a step.

It felt like magic. Heck, it WAS magic!

The energy was back, they were smiling, and we finished the class strong – without a single note of music.

And that, my friend, is the power of this system.

It doesn’t matter if the stereo fails, the playlist goes missing, or your Bluetooth decides to disconnect. My system doesn’t rely on complicated choreography tied to a song. It’s all about a steady beat, and when you’ve got that, nothing can stop you.

That day taught me a big lesson: you don’t need everything to go perfectly to succeed. When you’ve got a solid foundation, you can handle whatever curveballs get thrown your way.

So if you’re done with playlist headaches and constantly tweaking choreography, it’s time for a system that works no matter what. And bonus, a system that cuts your prep in half.

Because truth talk: you deserve a teaching method that has your back – even when the stereo doesn’t.
