Goodwill Is The Best Investment

Earlier this year, a woman joined the SharQui Virtual Studio to give it a try. After a few classes, she realized it wasn’t the right fit for her.

She emailed me, saying she loved our mission and the concept of our format but was looking for something slower and less fast-paced. Totally cool.

She could have just canceled her membership and moved on, and I could have thanked her and done the same. But instead, I chose a different approach.

I reached out personally and said:

“I completely understand! Sometimes it takes some exploration to find the perfect fit. If you’re still interested in virtual dance classes, I’d love to recommend a few instructors whose teaching styles might align better with what you’re looking for. They’re ‘Oreet approved,’ and I think you’ll love them.”

I shared a short list of instructors.

She was touched by the gesture. It saved her time searching and gave her confidence to try something new.

Then, a few weeks later, something amazing happened: one of those instructors reached out to thank me, thrilled about the new student I’d sent her way.

That simple act of offering guidance—not for any personal gain, but simply to help—felt incredible. It didn’t take long to write that email, but its impact rippled out: a happy ex-student, a grateful instructor, and a connection I was proud to make.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

When you approach life, business, or relationships with goodwill, the results are extraordinary. People remember acts of kindness. They talk about them. They trust you more. And often, those moments come back to you in the most unexpected ways.

So here’s my question for you:

How can you add a little unexpected goodwill into your life today?

Maybe it’s a thoughtful email, a kind word, or helping someone navigate a challenge. Whatever it is, I promise—it’s worth it.

Because goodwill always finds its way back. 💛

And speaking of giving things a try, I’d love for you to try our virtual studio, just like that woman did. It might be the perfect fit for you. Or even set up a coffee tawwwk to learn more about our instructor academies. It could be the start of something amazing.

Love,

Oreet
