Understanding what your students and potential students are struggling with is THE way to get new students:
Why is this so important?
So that YOU can provide a solution.
But until you know what they’re struggling with, and know the words they use – they will NEVER buy from you. It doesn’t matter if you are a kick-ass instructor, or have the most amazing photos and videos; they won’t buy from you until they know that you “get them”.
So if you are just starting out, how do you know what people are struggling with? And if you are currently teaching, how do you know the benefit you are offering people or why they came to you in the first place?
The answer… ask your students, survey them, talk to people in your community about what they are looking for when it comes to moving their bodies. Boom! That’s the only way you are gonna know.
So, truth smack…people don’t buy evidence or science. (Dude, they can google that stuff.)
People buy YOU.
They buy the connection they feel with you and your solution to their problem.
Connection + Solution = RESULTS
And THAT’s what they really want!
So once you find out the info you need, your promotion and marketing need to include this:
- how what you do can benefit them
- how it’s a clear cut solution to their struggle
- and the results they will acheive.
So, as you work on building your teaching biz, think deeply about what struggle it is that you are solving.
