Shake it up

What’s Your Manifesto?

What gets you out of bed every morning?

What do you passionately believe in?

What makes you tick? (or tock)

It’s taken me a long time to figure out why I truly do what I do and how I want to feel going forward in my life. I’ve worked hard on my business and myself and learned from my mistakes as well as my accomplishments.

Today, I try to work when I want (not because I have to); I make time for myself and my family, and I continue to see personal growth and business growth! (even with 2 small kids)

Was it always this way? Nope

I had to make a conscious effort to live my manifesto – my truth.

I open myself to you with mine…

When I die, I want to be remembered as one of the people who helped pioneer bellydance fitness, and who inspired others to Shake their Beauty”, too.

My fans are my rock and help me keep doing what I do. Yet more than anything else, I care about helping them get healthy and fit both mentally and physically.

In my world, wine is an absolute necessity and meditation is always a fabulous idea.

Balance is overrated and stress is a definite NO.

Fantasizing about sleep is totally reasonable and

Having me-time is a must.

But at the end of the day, love & connection is all that really matters.

I would love to have a glimpse of who you are as a person! And when you’re all done, share your manifesto in the comments. Don’t freak if you feel like your manifesto isn’t “perfect” or “comments-worthy”. It’s all about getting it out into the universe – if not here then write it for you, privately.

Here’s your fill-in-the-blank manifesto template:

Use some (or all) of these phrases to paint a picture of your values… the things you cherish… and your lifestyle!

When I die, I want to be remembered as ____________, and who inspired others to ____________, too.

My ____________ are my ____________. Yet more than anything else, I care about helping them____________.

In my world, ____________ is an absolute necessity and ____________ is always a fabulous idea.

____________ is overrated and ____________ is a definite NO.

Fantasizing about ____________ is totally reasonable and  ____________ is a must.

But at the end of the day, ____________ is all that really matters.

Looking forward to reading your beautiful manifestos!
